How's this for a New Year's resolution?  Brew a seasonal beer once a month.  If you're a hard-core homebrewer, this might be right up your alley.  Or, if you just like to plan ahead for special occasions, you might find this calendar helpful.  There's nothing like having an Octoberfest kegged or bottled and ready to serve when late September comes around, or having a wheat beer ready when the heat of summer has arrived.

For more ideas regarding seasonal beers, or computing your own brewing calendar for 2002, we suggest Amahl Turczyn's A Year of Beer, which lists over 260 seasonal beers.

Happy New Year and happy homebrewing!
